About

Travel is better with your people.

Roam.li is a social travel platform — a place to plan, record, and share trips with friends whose taste you actually trust. Not strangers' reviews. Not ad-funded recommendations. Just the people in your life, and what they actually loved.

Why we built it

Most trip planning lives in three places: a group chat with 400 unread messages, a Google Doc only one person updates, and a notes app full of links someone texted you a year ago. None of those things are good at being a trip plan. And none of them keep your friends in the loop after you go.

We're building Roam.li because we kept losing the receipts of our best trips — the place we ate that Tuesday in Lisbon, the friend who told us about it, the friends who never got the recap. We wanted one tool that holds all of it.

What it is, exactly

  • A planner. Tell us where, when, and how you like to travel — Roam.li drafts a day-by-day plan you can edit with your group.
  • A diary. Check off stops, save photos, add notes as you go. Your trip becomes a living record, not a frozen PDF.
  • A feed. Friends see what you're planning, where you are, and the trips you came back loving — and can fork your itinerary for their own.

Who we are

A small team in New York. We travel a lot, mostly with each other. We hated the way trip planning worked and decided to fix it.
