Terms of service.

The short version

Roam.li is free to use. Be a decent person — don't use it to harass others, spam friends, or post anything illegal. Your trip data is yours; we won't claim it. We don't guarantee uptime — this is an early product, things break.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else got in.

Your content

You own the trips, photos, and notes you create on Roam.li. By posting them, you give us a non-exclusive license to display them on the platform — that's the only way the app works. We don't use your content to train AI models or sell to third parties.

What you can't do

• Use Roam.li to harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Spam invites or share links to people who didn't opt in
• Reverse-engineer the app, scrape user data, or attempt to bypass authentication
• Post content that's illegal where you live or where the platform operates

Violating any of these gets your account suspended.

Our promises (and limits)

We work hard to keep Roam.li running smoothly, but we're a small team and this is an early product. Service is provided “as is” — we can't guarantee zero downtime or zero bugs. If a trip fails to save or an email fails to send, we'll fix it as fast as we can, but we're not liable for downstream consequences.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page. Continuing to use Roam.li after a change means you accept it.
